SceneWise Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 14, 2026

MDAi Health, an Ontario sole proprietorship operated by Wesley Holman, Kingston, Ontario ("we"), makes SceneWise. Contact: hwesley@mdaihealth.com.

What stays on your device

The clinical reference, your notes, your settings and your saved CME reports are stored on your device. We don't receive them.

What we collect when you use training features

ECG Analyzer

The photo you take or choose is resized and sent to a server we run, then on to Anthropic, which provides the AI that reads it. We don't save the photo or the result. Anthropic keeps API inputs and outputs for a limited period under its own terms. Do not include patient names, health card numbers or other identifiers in the photo. The result is decision support only, not a diagnosis.

Voice search

It uses your phone's speech recognition. Your phone's provider (for example Google) may process the audio. We never receive the audio.

App updates

The update service (Expo) receives basic details such as app version and platform.

What we don't collect

We don't use analytics or advertising tools, advertising IDs, or your location, contacts or other photos. We don't sell data or show ads.

Where it's processed

Training and CME data are stored with Supabase in Canada (Central). ECG photos are processed on our server hosted by Netlify and by Anthropic, which may be outside Canada.

Backups

If Android backup is on, Google may back up app data (including your anonymous ID) to your Google account. This is controlled by your device settings.

Delete your data

Who it's for

SceneWise is for certified paramedics and paramedic students. It is not directed at children.

Changes

We'll update the effective date, and the app will ask you to accept material changes.
