MedicAi is a next-generation clinical reference and training platform built from the ground up for field use. Offline. Intelligent. Always current with ALS PCS v5.4.
The current officially endorsed clinical reference app for Ontario paramedics was built on Xamarin Forms - a framework retired by Microsoft in 2024. It requires a live internet connection to function, was last updated in July 2024, and doesn't reflect the ALS PCS 5.4 directives that came into force June 2, 2025.
Every design decision in MedicAi was made by a 25-year ACP who has used - and been failed by - the current tools. Here's what's different.
From the moment you need a directive to the moment you have the answer - voice search, clean interface tabs, structured safety checkpoints, and companion guidance unified smoothly.
MedicAi includes a fully integrated training platform with 109 questions built from the ALS PCS 5.4 and companion document content. No connectivity required. Questions shuffle every session, and mastery is tracked per directive so you always know where you stand.
CME Focus Mode ties directly to the RPPEO continuing-education cycle - when topics are announced, the relevant questions surface automatically. Faster, smarter, and always in your pocket.
MedicAi was built by an ACP with 25 years of field experience in the RPPEO region. Every feature decision reflects real clinical scenarios - not assumptions from a software team.
The goal is simple: to become the officially endorsed clinical reference and training platform for RPPEO paramedics, and then expand that endorsement to all 12 Ontario base hospital programs.
